This Privacy Policy explains how Wordexa Vocab Flashcards (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provided by Helvorxy, handles information when you use the App.
Your privacy is important to us. The App has been designed to operate without requiring users to create an account or provide personal information.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not send your learning records or identifying personal information to Helvorxy. We do not collect personal information through the App or use an analytics or advertising SDK to collect it on our behalf. Information saved locally on your device is described in Section 2.
The App does not require users to provide information such as:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Physical address
Account credentials
Precise location
Contacts
Photos or media
Payment information
Advertising identifiers
No user account is required to use the App.
2. Local Storage, Retention, and Deletion
The App stores your language choices, appearance preferences, word results, review dates, section progress, saved study sessions, and undo history locally on your device. These records allow you to resume studying and undo answers.
The current version does not transmit these learning records to us, store them on our servers, or provide account-based cloud synchronization. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by your operating system and backup provider.
Your learning progress and preferences do not expire after a fixed period. They remain locally stored until changed through use of the App or removed from your device. Saved sessions and undo history are updated or replaced as you study; undo history is not a permanent archive of every answer.
To remove the App and its local records, open your device's Settings, choose General, then iPhone Storage or iPad Storage, select Wordexa, and choose Delete App. Offload App keeps documents and data; removing the icon from the Home Screen also does not delete the App's records.
Deleting the App does not necessarily remove copies in existing device backups. Manage those copies separately using your device's or backup provider's settings. Restoring a backup may restore the App's saved records. We cannot access, recover, or remotely delete records that exist only on your device or in your personal backups.
3. Analytics and Tracking
The App does not intentionally use advertising trackers or behavioral tracking technologies to track users across apps or websites.
We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, profiling, or marketing.
4. Third-Party Services
The App is designed to function without requiring users to submit personal information to us.
However, your device, operating system, App Store provider, or other platform-level services may independently process certain technical information as part of providing their services.
Any information processed independently by Apple or other platform providers is governed by their respective privacy policies and is outside our direct control.
Pronunciation uses Apple's system text-to-speech service. The App does not record your voice or request microphone access.
If a provider processes personal information on our behalf in a future version, it will be required to handle that information consistently with this Policy, its contractual obligations, and applicable law. This Policy and the relevant App Store disclosures will be updated before or in connection with a material change.
5. Advertising
The App does not currently display third-party advertising.
We do not sell or share personal information with advertisers.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
The App is currently provided free of charge and does not require subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other payments.
If paid features are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy may be updated where necessary.
7. Children's Privacy
The App may contain educational content suitable for users of different ages.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the App does not require accounts or intentionally collect personal information, we do not knowingly maintain personal information belonging to children under the age of 13 or any other applicable minimum age under local law.
If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected unintentionally, we will take reasonable steps to delete it where technically possible.
8. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell, rent, or trade users' personal information.
Because the App does not intentionally collect personal information, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.
9. Data Security
We aim to design the App using reasonable privacy and security principles.
However, no software, device, or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, backups, and device access credentials.
10. International Users
The App may be available to users in different countries.
Because we do not intentionally collect personal information through the App, we generally do not transfer user personal information between countries through our own systems.
Users remain subject to applicable local laws and the policies of their device and platform providers.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide rights concerning your personal information, including rights of access, deletion, correction, or restriction.
We do not hold a server-side copy of your learning records or an App user account to delete. You can change your preferences in the App and remove its locally stored records as explained in Section 2.

The current App does not rely on consent to send personal information to us and has no such consent setting to withdraw. You can stop using the App at any time. If a future feature requires consent for additional processing, we will explain that processing and how to withdraw consent before requesting it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, technologies, or our practices.
When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised.
A change to this Policy, or your continued use of the App, does not by itself constitute consent to new personal information processing that requires your consent.

This policy is available inside the App without an internet connection and at https://helvorxy.com/apps/wordexa/privacy. The bundled copy reflects the version included with your installed App; the website may contain a newer revision.
