Subvia Subscription Tracker ("Subvia" or "the app") is provided by Helvorxy ("we", "us"). This policy explains how information is handled in the current app. No Subvia registration account is required. Questions and privacy requests can be sent through the Helvorxy contact form.
The current online version is available at Subvia Privacy Policy.
1. Information you enter and local storage
Subvia stores subscription names, prices, currencies, billing dates, reminders, categories, account labels, payment-method labels, notes, recorded payment history and selected images on your device. It also saves preferences such as language, theme and notification settings. This information is used to organize subscriptions, calculate reports, display upcoming payments and schedule reminders.
"Accounts" and "payment methods" in Subvia are organizational labels. The app does not connect to your bank or require bank credentials, card numbers or access to your email inbox. Avoid placing passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in names or notes.
We do not operate a server that receives your subscription-tracking database. Information can leave your device through the optional services and actions described below.
2. Optional iCloud synchronization
iCloud sync is an optional premium feature that you enable in Settings. When enabled and available, Subvia synchronizes subscription records, history, accounts, categories, payment-method labels, service details and user-selected images through Apple's CloudKit private database associated with your Apple Account. Record identifiers, modification information and deletion markers help synchronize changes across devices.
Sync can run after changes and when the app opens or resumes. Turning sync off stops future app-initiated synchronization; it does not erase existing iCloud copies or disable Apple's separate device backups. Availability depends on your Apple Account, network, iCloud settings and storage. Apple handles its services under the Apple Privacy Policy.
3. App purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes purchases of Subvia premium access. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore access and determine premium eligibility. Its SDK may contact RevenueCat when the app starts, including before you make a purchase.
This processing includes a generated app-user identifier, purchase receipts or transaction information, product and entitlement status, and technical information such as app and operating-system versions. Purchase-related activity supports functionality, fraud prevention and purchase analytics available to us in RevenueCat's dashboard. We do not send your subscription-tracking database, notes or selected images to RevenueCat.
The current integration does not supply your name or email as a customer attribute or use an advertising identifier. Apple handles payment-card information; Subvia does not receive it. See RevenueCat's privacy information and RevenueCat's app-privacy guidance.
4. App search, icons and exchange rates
When you search for a service through the App Store search feature, your search term is sent to Apple's search service. Loading remote app artwork also makes a request to its hosting service.
When you choose App Store matching during CSV import, service names from the preview are sent to Apple's iTunes Search API with the selected storefront country. The CSV file, prices, dates and notes are not sent to Apple by this feature. Matching logos are downloaded from Apple's artwork servers; you can review the matches or choose a photo or icon manually before saving.
Subvia downloads currency-rate data from a public currency-data service delivered through jsDelivr. These requests do not contain your subscription list, recorded amounts or notes. Network providers necessarily receive connection information such as your IP address and the requested resource and may process request logs under their policies. See the jsDelivr Privacy Policy.
Opening an external subscription-management page, store listing or other website is subject to that destination's own privacy practices.
5. Photos, notifications and widgets
When you select a custom image, Subvia uses the system photo picker and saves a local copy for the selected service or category. Selected images may be included in iCloud sync and backups. The app does not upload your entire photo library.
Reminder notifications are scheduled on your device. Widgets use a shared on-device container to display selected subscription information and images. Names, amounts and upcoming dates may be visible to anyone who can view your screen or notification previews. You can manage notification permission and previews in iOS Settings and remove widgets through the system.
Subvia uses the device's time-zone settings for dates and reminders. It does not request GPS location or access to your contacts. The current app does not include AdMob, Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics, and does not use cross-app advertising tracking.
6. Backups and exported files
Subvia can create local backups and, when enabled, automatic backups. Its .criby backup packages contain database records and available custom images; legacy database backup files may also be imported.
CSV import and export are available for current subscription plans in the selected account. CSV files may contain service names, prices, currencies, dates, status, notes and subscription identifiers. They are plain text and do not include full price history, scheduled plan changes, reminders or image files. Import adds new records after review and skips detected duplicates; it does not replace a full backup. Exported CSV files are shared only with the storage destination you choose.
Backup files are not password-protected or encrypted by Subvia. Choose a trusted storage destination and protect access to exported copies. Files are provided to another app or storage service when you choose that destination in the system file tools. That service applies its own policy.
Restoring a backup can replace current local records. Deleting a record in Subvia does not remove previously exported copies, copies shared with other people or independent device backups.
7. Support and website contact
If you contact Helvorxy through our website, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you submit, along with any details you choose to include. We use these to respond, investigate issues and handle privacy or legal requests.
The contact form uses Cloudflare delivery and abuse-prevention services. The Helvorxy website Privacy Policy explains this separate processing. The app does not automatically attach your subscription database to a website contact request. Only include information needed for your request.
8. Purposes, sharing and international processing
We process information to provide requested app features, manage premium access, respond to support requests, protect the service and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, the legal bases are performance of our agreement with you, your consent for optional processing, legitimate interests in support and security, and compliance with law. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Relevant providers process information to deliver the services described above. We may disclose information we hold when legally required, to protect lawful rights and security, or in a transfer of the app or business subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
Providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer we arrange, those safeguards must be used. Apple and other independently chosen services also apply their own privacy terms.
9. Retention, deletion and your choices
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app's data. Deleting the app normally removes its local data; offloading may preserve it. You can edit or delete records in Subvia. Changes to synchronized records propagate when sync is enabled and completes successfully.
Manage iCloud data and device backups through Apple's settings and delete exported files separately from their destinations. Turning off sync or uninstalling Subvia does not automatically erase all cloud, purchase or exported records. We cannot directly remove files from your device or your private iCloud storage.
Support correspondence and purchase-related information are retained as needed to handle requests, maintain or restore entitlements, prevent fraud and meet applicable legal obligations. Providers may retain information under their policies and legal duties. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for data held independently by Apple or another provider.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of information we hold, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Use our contact form to make a request. We may need limited information to verify and locate the relevant records, and will respond as required by applicable law.
10. Security, children and policy changes
Protect your device, Apple Account and backup files. We use the platform's storage and service protections, but no system or transfer can be guaranteed completely secure.
Subvia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through support or our services. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied such information should contact us so we can address it.
We update this policy when practices change and provide additional notice or seek consent where required. The date above identifies this revision. For questions, contact Helvorxy.
